Cottage of the Month - Jan 2010
This month we're visiting Charleen's home in Mariposa, CA. What sets this month's feature apart from every other feature I've ever done is every single photo was taken by Charleen with a non-digital camera, meaning she had to take the photos, then take the film to get it developed, mail me the prints, and then I had to hand-scan and edit each photo. The photo quality is a bit different from the digital images we're all used to, but I'm always up for new experiences, and this was quite a fun challenge! I hope you enjoy what has been several years in the making..

Share one of your favorite decorating tricks or ideas: Layer with vintage fabrics; makes everything look pretty
 
Your favorite paint color: aqua and turquoise
 
What are your favorite things to collect right now? linen and seashells
 
What is your favorite room in your house, and why? The fireplace room where we all meet in the morning and in the evening, and drink our tea in there.
 
Your next project is: We're going to build a tree house up on a hill, underneath a huge oak tree in the Summer.
 
Where do you sell your goods? I'll be selling at Chocolate Soup in Mariposa, CA. starting in March.
